Posted August 16, 2016 Is the HP ProLiant DL380 Generation 5 (G5) support 64gb total or 32gb. How many DIMMs does it have and what ram does it take PC2-5300F or can it take PC2-4200P (some ram I already have) I have googled the letters at the end of the ram and apparently it doesn't fit because of the notches in the different place but is this true? On the hp site, it says 32gb max on the other sites it says 64gb max. Also, what is the biggest DIMMs it can take 4gb or 8gb? They recycle/disassemble PCs and servers, and generally have a lot of DDR2.
