LOL yes there is, P40, P50, P70, T420s are just a very few models with Quadros in them.

OP I would recommend looking at business laptops or clevo laptops with quadros in them such as the ThinkPad P50

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

My main Headphones and IEMs:  K612 pro, HD 25 and Ultimate Ears Reference Monitor, HD 580 with HD 600 grills

DAC and AMP: RME ADI 2 DAC

Speakers: Genelec 8040, System Audio SA205

Receiver: Denon AVR-1612

Desktop: R7 1700, GTX 1080  RX 580 8GB and other stuff

Laptop: ThinkPad P50: i7 6820HQ, M2000M. ThinkPad T420s: i7 2640M, NVS 4200M

seems like Quadros will help with bigger projects, gtx cards are not recommended/supported (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/syscert?siteID=123112&id=18844534&results=1&stype=graphic&product_group=2&release=2015&os=524288&manuf=all&opt=2)

A quadro will certainly give you a boost

never used autocad revit, so dunno. I have been using Inventor and autodesk 360 the most and other 3D programs.

Pascal laptops are looking to have heat issues. I'd say not worth the headache

I would strongly recommend the P50 if you can afford it, it is build like a tank and everything about build is just insane and you get the best keyboard.

No difference in performance. Quadros are geforces basically, excepting VERY few quadro cards. Maybe more memory on them, or a different shape/TDP design, but they're otherwise the same card.

You buy a Quadro for support. That's why they're so overpriced. That's basically it. Nothing else. No double precision, no special abilities, nothing. Just actually good drivers and support to go along with it.

Whether you use quadros or not is up to you at this point, but unless you REALLY need the support, I wouldn't spend a lot for a very weak Quadro (which is what you're looking for with your $2000 budget). Unless quadros are required via your above post... then I guess you need one T_T

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.

Yeah, good luck man. Erm... here's what. Check out the thinkpads and also call up HIDevolution and ask them if they have any clevo quadro machines for a $2000 budget and see what they can wrangle up for ya.

I would definitely go with Quadro GPUs, because they are meant for workstations and programs such as AutoCAD
