How much latency would something like this create?

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JQP6PTK/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2IX3RNQE846HA

Im a competitive gamer and NEED the lowest possible latency. My tv only has 2 ports so...

I guess i could just test it with an online response time test with my pc hooked up, once with and once without the switch. But Id like to know how much it would add before i buy

Don't think it would create much if any at all.  But competitive gaming on a TV seems counter intuitive.

agreed.

most TV screens have very high latency (like 60ms)

Yes thats very true. I will have my pc hooked up to a monitor in the one room and the tv in another room. even if i play most competitive games on the monitor i want as low latency as possible on the tv as well. Thanks!

There ain't much you can do about the high latency on the TV. That's just how they're made. Honestly all I think you can do is plug it into your monitor and TV and hope for the best.

I actually couldn't underclock my 5 year old GPU to make it as slow as a next-gen console.
