What Gpu Should i buy

RX 480

Although it currently isn't as good as the Gtx 1060, AMD have a better history of improving drivers for older cards even though their drivers aren't as good. For example the R9 290X was originally competing with the 780 Ti if I remember correctly but now is almost as fast as the Gtx 980 depending on the game.

Furthermore AMD need money for R&D to remain competitive.

Im really having difficultly chossing a gpu, i have a £250 budget but would like to spend as little as possible.

im pairing the gpu with an i5 6400 and 8gb ddr4 ram.

i will be playing games like no mans sky, doom, cs go, gta v, lol, bioshock infinite.

i will also be using this pc for video editing.

Cards i have been considering:

Rx 480

Gtx 1060

r9 380x

gtx 970

1060, it is the single fastest GPU in the lot. Would not recommend the 970 or the 380x as that is old stuff.

Would like to point out that the 1060 has no Sli support though so be warned. I

Personally I would save a bit more and get a 1070 for more futureproofness :P

And once you have money for 1070, save up and get yourself a 1080 instead. :P:P

hahaha ;) of course but by that time there will be a 1080ti and the 1080 owners will feel miserable and hopeless :D

There are a few games where the r9 290x can match the 980,the 980 is faster in allot of cases + the r9 290x was a firehazard
