So I want to build a PC that is quiet and somthing I can keep in my room for browsing the web and keeping stuff like my email and the weather open on it also I would like it to be strong enough to run minecraft l'm currently using a Acer AMD Athlon x2 2.2ghz machine that I got for free and replaced the power supply and got a SSD for so I can migrate over the SSD, power supply, and hard drive. Also I don't need anything with a core i5 and powerful GPU because I already have a gaming desktop downstairs in my office and I just wanted somthing to use upstairs on the main floor of the house in my room.

Note: I don't mind looking for used parts because I'm going to be running Linux on it and you can run Linux on a potato so anything faster then a Athlon 64 x2 would be fine.

Budget: As cheap as possible without it being slower then the Athlon 64x2 machine

So does anyone have any advice or know of any older parts that can be grabed for cheap PS I do prefer ebay and amazon more then craigslist
