Unable to update to 16.7.3 Drivers

GPU: MSI R9 380 4Gb

CPU: Intel 4690k

Motherboard: Gigabyte Z97N-WiFi

RAM: 8GB Crucial Balistix sport 1600

PSU: Corsair CX600M

Operating System & Version: Windows 10 AU 

GPU Drivers: 16.7.3/16.7.2

Description of Problem: Unable to upgrade drivers past 16.7.2 otherwise I get this BSOD and a boot loop

Troubleshooting: Removing the GPU completely was the only way to escape this crashing boot loop. Removing the faulty drivers with DDU cleared up the issue last time so I will do so again. And yes, I have also tried removing the 16.7.2 drivers and updating fresh from AMD website and still get the same BSOD

This is highly irritating, I was looking forward to an RX 480, I might have to switch teams if AMD can't make decent drivers that work. It's either AMD or something new with Windows AU that is preventing updates for drivers.
