well workstation cards is powerfull for #D rendering and other hard tasks which a regular card cant do at so short time. but this card is not for everyone

It's a workstation card, not a normal graphics card. But then again, this is pretty much general knowledge.

I've always found the concept of workstation to be interesting, what exactly is the difference, can this card do what a gtx can + other stuff?  or is it more like a math co-processor for rendering and any other work the a GPU might be able to do quicker than a cpu?

I believe the chips are selected to be super accurate for extremely crucial calculations like infrastructure development etc. Not fully sure. Where as gaming GPU's are not quite so flawless but do perform better in gaming. In fact I think the Titan and 780 was made using a bunch of workstation GPU's that didnt quite make the cut.

and for what. Even if u would get it for free of somebody and u want to play games with it u wont be happy its not a gaming card and cant probally run games fine

You don't want one actually :)

 

Teslas don't even have video output (as you can see on the picture), they can't drive a screen. Their only application is heavy CUDA computing. Quadros can drive a screen obviously, but would perform terribly in games. That's because they're made to take all the time they need to create a perfect image, whereas gaming cards are made to create possibly flawed images, but very very fast.

 

So they're not even that desirable to the average consumer

Haven't looked into it at much detail but basically Nvidia offer three tiers. Their consumer graphics cards, Quadro and Tesla cards. As @heineygoat mentioned Tesla is aimed towards higher end work stations and a server environment where maximum computing power is required (Image generation, floating-point calculations etc.)

Case = Bitfenix Prodigy, Motherboard = P8Z77 - I Deluxe, CPU = 3570k @ 4.2GHz, RAM = 2x 8GB G-Skill Ripjaws, GPU = Sapphire 7950 Boost Edition, Storage = 256GB Samsung 840 Pro.
