The BBC is going to intercept WiFi traffic to find people watching iPlayer without paying the license fee

Would changing your MTU for your frames make this more difficult or more uniquer and easier for frame/packet sniffing (I believe it would be frames for layer 2?)

A BBC spokesman said: 'There has been considerable inaccurate reporting this weekend about how TV Licensing will detect people breaking the law by watching BBC iPlayer without a licence.

'While we don't discuss the details of how detection works for obvious reasons, it is wrong to suggest that our technology involves capturing data from private wi-fi networks.'

I think the whole surveillance van idea is just a bit of scaremongering that they never really deny too much just to scare a few extra people into paying the fee? I doubt they'd waste that much money... well actually it's the BBC so they probably would..
