This might not be a Build Log right now, but it will be when Im able to talk the Misses in to thinking its a GOOD idea to buy a new SFF Workstation to ME so she can take the old one as her "Photoshop PC".

 

Status on Build right now = Misses on Workrelated Trip wont be home until NOV. 

 

Temp. MDF-shelf case so ma OLD Faithfull woudnt be "Neecked" after She hit the floor running when the Big dog in the house tryied to catch a Flying Bug.

 

Components still OK but ma H2 case DIED a terrible death =/, it served me well for a couple of years until Today.

 

OLD Faithfull now:

 

CPU = 1055t OCed to 3800MHz

GPU = GTX 560 DCII Stock

MB = M4A88T-V EVO/USB3

RAM = 2 4GB Kingstone HyperX 1600MHz 

PSU = OCZ ZT 750W

HDD = 2 RAIDed WD-Black 500GB drives

        = 1 Storge WD-Green 2000GB drive

 

CASE = MDF Shelf-Mod

just notised I missed cutting the Motherboard Tray to fit the side haha xD

at first i thought you forgot the PSU and drives, but then i saw the last picture and than i was like, this guy is smart!

haha yeah I know, but the task in hand wasnt Cable managment for this case it was Build a case so I can Use ma PC xD

 

Next Project when waiting on Misses is gona be Cable managment and maybe modding some more on the Case. Who knows might keep it hehe

looks good. I LOVE the zoning you did with separating the "hot" components from the "cool" components. Do you have any plans for airflow? Thought I saw some traces for fan cut-outs in the front.

yeah gona be kinda the same as on top Holes in the front and ofc a better front IO panel. And when I do that I probably gona fix the Cable managment to so that I can install 2 fanns in the front =D

hehe yeah, im thinking of some color atleast. Have some plastidip in white, black, grey and yellow so might give the case a touch of color after all stuff and mod are done hehe =D
