Monitor Help needed.

Hey i want to buy a 2560x1080 21:9 monitor. But my grafics card only has a hdmi Port. Will a hdmi to display Port support that ratio? Because the monitor only had a hdmi 1.4.

Just to be clear, your graphics card has HDMI out, and you're adapting the HDMI out to display port in on the monitor. Correct? 

Either way, you shouldn't have any issue at 2560x1080. HDMI 1.4 supports this resolution.

Like the previous member said, the resolution is supported by the 1.4 standard. But only up to 75Hz. For more information check out the topic here: Guide to Display Cables
