Need help with a question about motherboards.

ok so i decided to go ahead and put forward a whole 600 dollar paycheck for a core i7 4790, an asrock h97 pro 4 mobo, a hyper 212 evo, arctic silver 5 thermal jizz,  and a rosewill valens 500w psu 80+ gold. my previous mother board which was oem is an Asus H81M-A socket lga 1150, the cpu i want is lga 1150, and my question is, do i really need a new motherboard if my oem board can support this core i7? i am on a 60o us dollar paycheck budget so please dont reccomend $100+ "gaming" motherboards as Uncle Linus proved there is no real performance boost between gaming and i guess well regular motherboards. ALSO! this oem case measures 9 inches of girth, will a hyper 212 evo fit? or will i have to buy a bigger case.
