So he activates hyperthreading and says he now got double the cores what? Or does extra cores rly exist

Your are not doubling the physical amount of cores, but rather the amount of threads. The tech quickie video sums it up very nicely, what do you not understand?

 

edit- skimmed through the first video you posted, the guy is very incorrect. For starters, hyper threading certainly does not "double CPU performance". Second of all, cores are very different from logical processors. I would only rely on the information from the tech quickie video, as the first video is very incorrect.

BTW he is benchmarking on csgo you know heavily graphics intense game and he got 60 fps with 980 bro i got 120 with gts 210
