i need help with overclock info plz...

after i have overclocked my amd fx-6300 from 3.5 to 4.6 Ghz it has been sooo much faster that it was before.

but thats not the problem here you see there is one small thing (i think?) that really annoys me, when i press the power button for the first time in the morning, it dosent boot, the power light comes on the fans sping for a few seconds and then it stops.

if i leave it for a few seconds it will eventually start other wise i have to press it again then it start and posts fine.

is this a normal thing once the CPU is overclocked?? because when it was at stock speeds it did not do this.

and it would also happen on my core2duo rig as well so its a question i have wanted answered for along time...

my pc is sable as tho when its in windows.

does any one have a fix or is this something that every one gets??

plz help me my mind is in turmoil

Can you check that all your settings are at the values you chose? When OCing, I would sometimes have failed attempts that eventually boot fine... after the motherboard changed some bios settings on its own to make it work (most common case for me is failing to get RAM to work at the chosen speed, which triggers the CPU NB voltage to skyrocket to 1.4v and/or the RAM speed reverting to 800MHz).

Like space ghost said.  It's because you haven't set all the settings in right so the motherboard is trying different settings every time.  You need to go through and try to set as many things manually as you can.
