I'm not spending $200 on a motherboard where they can't even put the sata connectors on the edge

(all about them aesthetics)

I dont care about that personally.

The main thing i care about is the overall build quality and components used in the vrm cirquitry.

My next build is most likely mini itx so I'm just looking for aesthetics at this point. :/

Not sure about the asrock, but there's a reason why the impact probably costs so much...

Impact_Power_Front_Sans_Heatsink_2-600W.

Yes a very sweet IR35201 pwm implementation, running in 6+2 phase mode.

powered by some nice IR 60A stages.

I can understand that.

Allot of people look at asthetics and there basicly is nothing wrong with that.

However in the case of mini-itx, its is a pretty complex design.

Thats why there only a very few mini itx boards in the wild.

And about the Asrock Z170 Fatality gamin itx/ac.

Is also using the same IR35201 pwm in 6+2 phase mode.

But they use Ti-CSD87350Q5D Nex fets powerpacls, Rated at 25A at 90% efficiency. 40A max output.

60A blackwing inductors and 12K nichicon capacitors.

So yeah also a very sweet vrm cirquit on the Asrock.  ;)

I agree on the Gryphon, that is a missed chance.

Or a nice Sabranco mini itx version.

Maybe we could poke JJ about it.

Gene serves as an alright substitute though. Just without a armour :/

Never used a EVGA's mobo before... I heard they used to have bad QC.

But for the looks I have to give the thumbs up for z170 stinger.

If it is not broken, let's fix till it is.
