You can use a PCI-E 8x Slot, yes. And your processor is just the exact intel equivalent of my AMD one. Theres a small bottleneck, but nothing too bad.

i don't know but probablz 60 fps+ on medium settings to high settings. The game isn't that demanding.

As a rule of thumb. You can pretty much run everything that originally came out on Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 at 720p or 1080p around high settings. These consoles GPUs are half as powerful as the R7 250.

Xbox One titles will run but at lower settings.

2. It doesn't draw from the power supply, but from the PCI-E Slot

Unless your motherboard has a built-in generator, it draws from the PSU nonetheless :P

I guess you meant he doesn't need to worry about having a 6 or 8 pin connector, and you are right. The other concern would be the total load on the 12v rail, but I doubt that will be an issue with any <75W card.

the requirement is 380-400 watt :'(

That's an approximation: at the end of the day, it's not the total capacity of the power supply what matters, but the 12v capacity (which is always lower than the total).

A GPU can't draw more than 75W from the PCIe connector itelf (that's why beefier cards have 1 or 2 direct connections to the PSU, each providing up to 75 additional watts). This, plus the CPU, plus the HDDs and fans, need to be within the limits of the 12v rail(s) of your power supply (which may be expressed in watts or in amps, with 12 volts * X amps = Y watts). They recommend 380-400 watts because any PSU in that range will provide enough current to the 12v rail. Below that, you may still be fine if your particular PSU can handle the 12v load.

Hey, I used an Intel Core2 Duo E6700 with a Radeon X1600 for COD 4 1080p medium settings and it ran fine, even with 3.5GB (8 in the machine but 32 bit OS and 512MB GPU) so that CPU and GPU should do ok, but COD 4 is a some what older game.

Yours faithfully
