I've been using quite a few, because I just like having certain programs out of my main browser. I like having a desktop app for Messenger and Netflix. I haven't found much use for others like Duolingo or Wikipedia, mainly because their browser counterparts are so much better.

What do you guys think? Are Windows Store apps any good? Do you guys use them?

No.

But I'm more of a fan of traditional programs.

The stuff Microsoft adds to Windows 10 looks nice but isn't greatly functional. The mail app, for example, crashes for some reason.

That's just me though. :)

I edit my posts a lot.

I use the Pandora app. Kinda buggy since it wont let me go back and upvote songs I've already listened to. You're right that the apps can be hit or miss.

Dont get the point of using them outside the browser, never bothered

the question is too generic to answer as each app is specific to each developer

but I dont use a single one

iv checked a couple and they are poorly made + ads block vital parts of it(developers suck, so fuck you you scummy devs fix those programs). so i gave up on that. pc's aren't phones, who needs a goddamn store, which by the way sucks, to get things that you could have otherwise acquired from the internet? it has nothing exclusive(yeah yeah some xbox games? *cough* steam *cough* )

I've used Unstream for Twitch and Hyper for YouTube occasionally. Other than the preinstalled stuff, that's it.

Though, honestly, even those two apps kinda go by the wayside more often than not. I end up using chatty+livestreamer for twitch and I just watch youtube normally through the browser.
