my motherboard says ...memory support is ddr4 2133 mhz only......but I got 2400 mhz ....wht to do....shall I install or get only 2133mhz......

You can install and it will work fine, but clock the ram at 2133. You can then OC it to 2400 if you want.

If it says it only supports 1 type of RAM, get that RAM. Or try and clock it as suggested above.

The mobo will automatically downclock any RAM that is faster than what it specifies so there won't be any problems.

It will, trust me. Each "overclocked" kit of ram has JEDEC SPD information stored on it. For DDR4, that is 2133mhz C15-15-15-35-CR2 1.2v. This SPD profile is loaded by default, meaning the moment you plug it in, it will run at this specific speed. You have to manually change it to the 2400mhz profile. As long as you do not change it, it will be fine by default.
