Let me see are you saying what is the difference in 2 7970 and 2 7950

I would say 2 7970 will use alot more Power, but you will get awesome fps probably like a gtx 780 or more powerful don't quote me on that

But since you have a 7950 already mind as well just upgrade to the new R9 280x

i was thinking of getting the upcoming R9 280X but since prices are going to be a bit more for the CU II versions of the R9 280x, i might opt to get 2 7970's when the R9 series comes out since prices will drop.

You've been quoted ;)

2 7950's will bend a 780 over and give it to it hard :P There isn't much competition in it tbh :)

Then I will raise you 2 7990 in crossfire   ;)

after looking at some benchmarks the cards are really really close except for in battlefield, the 7970 cf was about 20 fps more. 7950 cf with an overclock would be very nice

I dont talk native english, so when someone writes with lots of grammar error i go nuts trying to understand what the hell were they trying to say.  Since its a forum and the communication metod is written, i would suggest to keep it as clean as possible

so i have just watched the video of the R9 280x from Linus and its just a 7970 GHz addition... So i might as well wait for the R9 290x and see the benchmark results and decide then...
