Should I replace my new GPUs *Thermal Compound that was sealed in box but sitting in dry storage for 2 years?

Joe Brainer

It should be perfectly fine.

Thy hath sinneth, and in thy life thou hast fallen to an unholy, unspeakable level of humanity. Thou hast given into your basest needs. And suffered many years under thine Satan-box. However, if thine be willing, as thy hast show yourself to be, thy can ascendeth into thy glorious fold of the glorious church. Go well, my brother, may your temps be low and your frames high. ~ MrDynamicMan

If it does what you need it to do, you should be fine. The only reason to spend money would be if a need isn't being met. It's not like you can return it and get your money back after two years.

If you're on 1080p 60hz it should actually be pretty decent. :)

Does he have anymore GPUs?

My mistake guys, forgot to type in Thermal Compound. I didn't mean the GPU itself. Trying to do 1,000 things at once.

Why worry if it was sealed for 2 years?

Age of the thermal compound maybe making it do its job less? I don't know if the stuff dries out, my Curriculum never covered the life expectancy of Thermal Compound.
