Okay okay i know its not their fault but in germany the 1060 FE is €319 with most custom cards coming up at 970 prices corca. €350.

i guess i shouldn't complain but this has lead me to a dilema of which card is best. Has anybody found a comparison of the different ones? also what are you thoughts on the european 1060 prices.

Thank you.

you should see the price gouging in the US. US prices arent any better, if anything, compared to relative income and purchasing power, the US prices are way worse

Slovakia here.

Cheapest 1060 I found is from Palit for €295

ASUS one is at €310.

Cheapest RX480 is €270

Unless there are non reference RX480 the GTX 1060 is no brainer.

I am actually very surprised that it is not almost €400.

thats true, like i said the prices are alright but its still somewhat awkward

There are cards for 280€ though. I don't know anyways why you would want to go with FE but they said MSRP of FE 1060 would be 299$ if I am not mistaken so 319€ is (more I know but still) not that bad in my opinion. While stuff like that could never be cheap enough obviosuly I do expect the card to lower in prices a bit once the "I need one right now" buyers are saturated.

I would go with either MSI or Asus though since I'm thinking about doing that aswell but I'm still going to wait till winter at least.

i know the prices are alright but it does get rather tiring that GPUs in Germany are more expensive than th ones in the us even if the euro is stronger than the usd.

they should go down to 300-320 by autumn/winter this year, unless they perform some sort of market crash miracle like the 1070.

Well there are taxes and VAT that you need to include. Everything in EU is 20% more expencive than in US. At least for PC hardware.

Mindfactory have gtx 1060 for 280€.

Because people (are forced to) pay it. That's the problem.

Hmmm  well yeah I'm a bit P@*$?!! with pricing on most of the cards here in Australia!

Retail pricing in the major Computer store for Perth;

1080 is $1139-1279

1070 is $739-899

1060 is $589-489

RX480 is $369-469

980Ti is $689 for a Gigabyte Windforce as a comparison and a MSI 390 was $449.

Will be scary to see what the pricing will be on the top tier cards from both vendors at the end of this year, I was hoping to perhaps get a HBM2 card of some description, and I could afford it, just couldn't bring myself to waste that much money on a gpu.:/
