This guy has a whole YouTube channel of phony guides. Here's one from him... It's definitely fake, but is the theory behind it, true?

Pretty sure that's all complete nonsense.  That's not how it would send that signal (if it existed), that signal is not a thing (throttling happens upstream), etc...

I didnt watch the whole video but the first 2 minutes are full of BS. Amplitude does not determine speed, frequency does. Having more amplitude in a signal means the waves can travel further. Having a higher frequency means more bandwidth(more data can be transmitted).

A signal amplifier will not make your internet faster. Moreover, any amplifier will boost signal AND noise (unless stated otherwise). I hate guys that make videos like this, besides he looks like a psycho...
