HELP: can't access my BIOS

Go to solution Solved by 79wjd,

Holding the power button down for an extra long time will force you into the bios (when you power the computer on).

MSI also has a fastboot utility to launch the bios on the next start.

so guys i have a little issue...

i turned on ''quickboot'' or some shit like that in my BIOS and now it's too fast my keyboard and mouse are TURNED OFF at the time i should be hitting the DEL key to enter my BIOS so it skip right to windows loading and then BOOM desktop...what do i do?! how can i acces the UEFI?! i have tried plugging the keyboard in different USB ports with no success...help! :(

Yeah I was going to say fully shut down and then unplug it.  It will boot from a lower state and should give you time.

alright...so at first the computer turned on and then holding the power button made it turn off again...i tried a couple times but it kept shutting it off...but then it gave more time and the keyboard managed to power on in time for me to hit DEL...then i went to the bios and found out the settings that allow ''hold power button 4 sec to acess bios'' was set to disabled...i enabled it so next time it will work.

But then the computer turned on and i noticed a weird buzzing sound, turns out it's coming from my gamepad controller...i will have to check if it's still working...right now when i plug it in it's doing a weird buzz ?! :(

Turns out the buzzing sound coming from my gamepad is gone and the thing is still working in case you guys wondered lol :P

anyways, thanks a lot for the help...holding down the power button does bring the BIOS now, so this issue is resolved.

Big thanks to all of you, you are awesome!

Glad it was resolved. :) Yeah, my ASRock board has a fastboot ability too, and it specifically says that the ultrafast one is so fast you don't even have time to hit the del key to get into bios.   They provide a Windows utility to reboot to UEFI.
