i5 6500, 6600 or 6600k?

My take (even if it's not recommended but you're an adventurer like me):
Buy a i5 6400 + budget cpu cooler (Hyper 212, PURE ROCK or a Cryorig H7)+ z170 board ( Gigabyte HD3 or Msi PC Mate or Z170A Pro).

The BCLK oc it to about 4.2- 4.4 Ghz. There's no real danger when it comes to gaming.

But when it comes to other task, @Zyndo would be happy to tell you about.

If you know how to overclock(or are willing to learn) then I would highly recommend the 6600k. If not then just get a 6500 and invest the rest into other components such as the GPU.
