Can the HD 7990 utilize all of it's 6GB VRAM?

Hey, I just got myself a new Sapphire HD 7990. I am just wondering, if it's going to use all of it's 6GB GDDR5 VRAM, or just 3GB like in a 7970 Xfire configuration? What I have read so far that it only uses 3GB, but I would like a confimartion on this.

No only 3gb, any dual gpu(or more) solution uses the vram from one card.

There is actually 6gb of VRAM on the card, but only 3gb is used because of how CF works.

Its the equivalent of 2 x 7970 with 3GB of VRAM a piece. Both chips will utilize all 3GB offered to them

I think some professional 3d apps can use all 6 gigs, but in gaming no.

But what about the 6gig versions of the 7970? its basically the same chip with 6 gigs onboard, the 7990 uses the sam chip 2 times...

I doubt a 384bit bus is enough to utilize all 6GB of VRAM
