So i just tested my pc and used valley benchmark extreme hd preset and i got a score of 1150 around there.

Min fps- 12

Max fps- 53

Specs-------)

Mobo-msi970a-g46

Cpu- amd fx 9590 (non overclocked) 4.7ghz

Gpu- Msi r7 370 4gb

Operating system- Windows 7

and if my fps and my score are bad can u give me some advice on how to improve it. My cpu goest to about 63c at full load and my gpu gets to about 60c on full load which i think is very good.

Thanks!- Justin

i got it for a little bit more then an amd fx 8350 so i thought ehh why not.

why not becase its the same chip with a higher clock, but still a very bad one. my friend has one and he bought a R9 390 and live streaming bottlenecks the SHIT out of his system. better off getting the 8350

exactly, you got it for 130 for a reason, id get a 8xxx series chip over a 9xxx series chip any day, but thats just me,

and see how i didnt say to get intel (becase im a AMD fanboy) but yes intel is better

The 9590 can be overclocked much higher then the 8350 tho is why i got it my friend at his house he showed me his was clocked at 5.7 ghz with no issues so thats why i went with the 9590 and as far as i know the 8350 has only been recorded to get to like 5.0 ghz and i also dont want to overclock as it voids warranty does it not so id rather keep my warranty and possible headaches.

what mobo do u use btw? is my mobo bottlenecking my cpu possibly because of it not being designed to handle cpus over 200w?

No, it wouldn't bottleneck performance, it would catch on fire and die and possibly burn your house down.

And that image is from google, not me.

yes but you realize not all chips are the same. you can have the same CPU and one person can get it to lets say 5 ghz, when the other person can never get it past 4.5 without it getting unstable. its the silicon lottery.

How could it catch on fire it stays at 60c on load? which i believe is excellent

AMD clearly states the fx 9590 ( 220w ) is ONLY compatible with select 990fx boards , let alone 970 boards .

This is an extreme case , but  a very real possibility considering both boards use 4+1 phase VRM

AMD Ryzen R7 1700 (3.8ghz) w/ NH-D14, EVGA RTX 2080 XC (stock), 4*4GB DDR4 3000MT/s RAM, Gigabyte AB350-Gaming-3 MB, CX750M PSU, 1.5TB SDD + 7TB HDD, Phanteks enthoo pro case

This is an extreme case , but  you should still consider the risks :

Can you please recommend me a board id apprecaite it!

I did some research on this tho the Asus crossahir a 200$ mobo currently in its description clearly states it is not designed to handle 200w cpus but on the amd website it recomends this board so how does this make any sense i think its just trying to get people to buy better boards honeslty i have had no issues except occasional system shut downs because my psu hasnt arrived yet which is a lot higher watts its a 850w compared to my current 600w so idk man lol

best bet is to go on PCpartpicker and use the compatibility checker .

Here is AMD's fx 9000 series requirement page:

i know what is recomended on amd lol but im saying they are 2 conflicting sites on asus crosshair formula z site on compatible cpus it doesnt show 9590 and shows that it dont support 200w cpus so i think its a bit of a hoax almost my system is fine and my heat is fine 60c i think it will be fine
