This is where I'm supposed to say hi... so hi! Having trouble updating my profile. It seems to time out or something before I finish. It says I don't have permission to update my profile and asks me to sign in... eh? Oh well! Seems like a great little community here and I'm happy to join. Please forgive me for my awful habit of occasionally feeding trolls. Just know that I'm usually being a bit of a troll myself when I'm doing it, but I'll be damned if it's not amusing sometimes. I hope that doesn't make me an awful person.

Be sure to put these things in the thread:

- A screenshot of the issue, if it's an issue with the content that's displayed in any way (basically, anything other than error pages).

It looks like you were logged out when you tried to submit the edit. When you register, it does the equivalent of logging you in without checking "remember me", so if you leave the page idle for long enough (roughly 30 minutes I believe), you will be logged out. Logging in and checking remember me should fix the issue.
