Which of the two?

Dkozak

I need a new headphone for listening music at work. (No need of a mic or a € 200 one!)

Not sure which one of the two would be the best bang for buck so here I go.

- Philips SHB7150 Black (€ 69.99)

OR

- Sennheiser HD 461G (€ 79.99)

Give more info on why you would pick the one you think is better.

Yeah I heard Sennheiser is a very good brand for headphones but I hear it's all plastic and feels cheap. It's going in a backpack every day so I want it to be somewhat durable. The philips one has nice features like bluetooth and NFC for pairing AND the microphone (if I need to make a quick call) is not somewhere inline on the cable.

Sound quality is the 1 and only factor that I take into account and I just don't see Philips as being a brand that makes you think headphones. When I hear Philps I think of a home appliance.

The thing that feels cheap for me when I had the hd 598s was the earcups, I didn't really like the material but you could replace it and they actually held up pretty strong, it is plastic and does feel a little cheap. To be honest the Phillips ones look good too. The bluetooth is a nice feature if you want to wear it while getting up and leave your phone at your desk. Its sort of a personal preference.
