This can be the Pokemon Go! thread. 

 

If you feel this isn't for you, no need to post in this thread. This is for those that downloaded the mobile app, and been playing.

 

I've been playing it today. I drive for my job and when I stop somewhere I hop on the app real quick, check around do what I can, capture any new pokemon and go back to my work stuff. 

I've managed to capture a few pokemon, although I've noticed in mostly residential areas you'll end up with the same pokemon over and over. I've got a Hypno, Drowzee, Poliwhirl, Fearow, Eevee, Rattata and a few others. I picked Charmander as my starter.

It's there under Pokemon Go. I downloaded it this morning.

Not every country has it. I believe its only usa and aus right now.

 

 

Sucks that it does not support intel cpu based devices. Also sucks that all my android devices are intel cpu based.... (zenfone2 and acer tablet)

I was circling my office at work today to hatch some eggs.

 

I waa going slow enough that it thought I was walking. Hatched all my 9 eggs I got from pokestops.

 

Been catching all those Rattata around my house, got enough that I evolved the strongest one and pumped it cp up to 545. Its at my gym and is 23 and 0.

 

My house is across the street from my gym. I can whoop people and then look outside and see them drive away from the churches parking lot defeated.

Been running into that issue myself today.

 

I tried logging in at a few different times and no luck. It doesn't help some people are probably only doing it to try to get a meme worthy pic.

anybody in metro Vancouver wanta buddy up and open a hotspot for me, i promised il use less than 70gb? but seriously, i've had this app installed for 2 days now, but i can't play it since i have no data...: (

I watched a video and it made great points. Big companies will pay them to have gyms or whatever attracts hordes of people and they will put it in their store so they will blindly walk in for a pokemon and then buy stuff. Also people have already had pedophiles setting lures and waiting for kids to come. I tried the game and logging in with my Gmail account the password got swiped and 2FA didn't stop it. I made a thread and no one seemed to care. It is also buggy and bland looking. I do like the whole AR part and interaction with other people.

soo uhh, today i went to wind mobile with my xiaomi to try to get a data plan with them. it turned out that my phone wasn't compatible with their network. so i walked back home with a lg g5.... #thingsidoforpokemongo just broke my savings too... screw you nintendo
