Regular troubleshooting?

 

Unplug it, allow it to sit for a minute, plug it back in.

 

If it doesn't broadcast a wifi signal, then physically connect to the router with a laptop and see if you can communicate with it. If you can't communicate with it, try resetting it. If you you still can't connect to it after it's been reset and power cycled, then for all intents and purposes it's probably dead unless you feel like ripping it apart to look for the failed component.

Maybe your modem rebooted. I notice this happens to me some times during the early morning. I think it happens after Comcast pushes a new Config file to my modem. 

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
