I've heard some negetive remarks about the Corsair CX psus. Are they really bad?

I believe its good for a budget build. Like mine was, It was a $500 build to get me started then I added a graphics card later.

You could either:

1) Get a Seasonic S12II 520W or XFX TS 550W

2) Get the new CX series (grey label, they're actually good)

I'd avoid the green label CX at all costs

I was stating my opinion, that's what you do on forums. IMO I don't like Seasonic psu's, but you do. I like MSI products, some people don't. I just have different opinions then some. My brother got a green label cx650 I believe for his $1200 dollar rig and still works perfectly after a year of working in dust, he doesn't keep it clean

How do you not like the fact that Seasonic literally makes most PSUs sold today? They're the OEM for most PSUs and also one of the safest manufacturers?

" CX Series Modular power supply units are an excellent choice for basic system builds and desktop PC computer upgrades, offering high reliability, low noise, and the flexibility of modular cabling. "

I suppose it depends on the system

Personal preference, don't know a single person with one, and I tend to find a couple of brands that have been good and reliable for me and my friends and stick with them. I like corsair and evga on psu's

If you see a lot of tech fans saying that those PSUs are bad, just don't buy them xD

Don't buy corsair with green lable.
