When will Sky Q activate the powerline functionality

Hello, just moved from BT Infinity to sky fibre, and at the same time we have upgraded our sky package to sky Q so we have recived the new Sky Q Hub, I have read online that the Q devices have AV 1.1 powerline functionality built into them however as of present this is not activated, does anyone have any news on activation date for this feature, and also can somebody tell me if this would enhance the hotpot feature of the Sky Q boxes around the house by acting as a powerline AP rather than just a Wi-Fi extender, Thanks
