hitfilm 4 express is free

 

lightworks also has a free trial version but is harder to learn

windows movie maker is the simplest free editor

if hitfilm is too difficult for you then windows movie maker is the one you need

It's not that it's too difficult I just don't really like it's interface and I have tried Windows movie maker but it wasn't as functional as I intended it to be

how do you not like the interface?

it looks exactly like premier pro, sony vegas, or all other professional video editors

 

if you dont like the interface then you can customize the layout and options in the program settings

I like more of a Lightworks interface instead
