Unusual h80i temps ?

Hello everyone,

 

It's been quite some time I installed a corsair h80i to my 3570k processor, but I recently changed the stock fans to some thermaltake 120mm riings, and I've noticed they don't cool as much as the stock fans did. The radiator sensor usually gets to the 36C range and I was wondering what was the recommended high temp for the radiator ? The CPU doesn't go much higher than 65C in load so I'm not that worried.

50s - 60s is alright, especially because of a worse fan. But hey, as long as it's quiet.

I use an old H80 with 2 SP120s and I get low-mid 40s when under load. idle & light tasks it doesn't go past 25C (assuming an ambiental of less than 25C. Last winter it was a nice cool 19C all'round. Mind you, these are CPU temps from aftermarket probe which seems to be in line with the sensor readings off the mobo).

Rad-wise it's gotten as hot as 54C at an ambiental of 33-35C and a case temp of 38C with fans and pump set to lowest speeds

Rad temp will always be higher than CPU temp. You're fine, imo
