How do I output two surround 7.1 sound in windows?

Go to solution Solved by TheGuy12211221,

Got it, installed VB Cable works fine now.

Hi, I want to record with shadowplay on a seperate audio output because I get sound problems with my G35 headset which only supports 44100 Hz (shadowplay needs 48000 Hz to have good sound quality), but I'm strggling to manage it. People said that I have to use stereomix as a second output, but it's stereo not 7.1 surround.

Now I have no idea what to do (and I don't want to switch to stereo)

Any way to make this work without installing 3rd party software?

Thanks for any help!

I don't quite understand what you're asking, are you saying you want to output the stereo mix to Shadowplay, and then a seperate 7.1 to your headset?

There is no point in 7.1 for recording to shadowplay, as when you upload it/render it whatever else, I doubt it will stay in 7.1, and sites like YouTube don't support 7.1 Audio anyway.

I'm not entirely sure how Shadowplay works, but I'd figure you can set the audio input in Shadowplay to the your Stereo Mix, and then set your default output to your Headset, that way it should record the Stereo In Shadowplay, while outputting 7.1 to your headset.

I'm not sure how shadowplay works, but OBS or anything like that has its own separate audio options.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!
