Game Glitching Dont Know Whyfile:///C:/Users/felix/Downloads/13523740_10157256227790657_1372989649_o.jpg

Felixwaw

so I was playing Overwatch (this happenes with other games like shadows of mordor). So sometimes when im gaming this happens i dont know what its called and i dont know why its happening. so my question is what is this problem called and does anyone know how/why this is happening?

more info: sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesnt, sometimes it fills the whole screen, sometimes it starts right away or sometimes it happens after a few hours of playing.

thanks ahead of time!

I don't have much of an Idea though it would likely be something to do with your gpu itself or the drivers for it... What gpu are you using, how old is it and are its drivers up to date?

Try going back a few... If they all don't work, perhaps bring your gpu into a shop and get it checked, as the only thing I can think of causing this is your gpu or its drivers...

This is a form of artifacting and happens when the Games API doesn't match up with the one in your driver.  (typically)

it can also be a sign of a much more serious problem, like failing memory.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

Um, revert to an older driver? Nvidia drivers have been causing issues here and there and for some people it's better to just run an older version.

I recommend version 362.00 or 361.91

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here
