I think most have reported it as a compromised account anyway. Twitter knows what's up.

Before i say anything, i AM NOT claiming that this is true, but there are people theories about Keemstar being behind this/paying poodlecorp to hack Linus + Boogie. By this, I've seen several posts on Reddit from users saying that there are links as both Linus and Boogie have discussed Keem and have since been targetted. This could just be some crazy idea that is not true at all, and i really hope that it is, but i thought I'd just share it with everyone here in case nobody else has to see what you guys' thoughts on it were. In my mind, this could make some sense, as i see no reason why Poodlecorp would just target Linus or Boogie completely out of the blue for no reason when there are dozens of other content creators out there that would attract far more publicity for them. I'll just say it once more in case anyone missed it - i am not blaming Keemstar, i'm just sharing the theory with everyone here. In addition to this, it really sucks what with everything that had happened, and there is no need at all. I wish the best for everyone here and at Linus Media Group! I have faith in you guys!

But Until Linus makes a video directly stating that the Twitter account is in his control and that the forums are safe, Do not believe anything the Twitter account says, and If a forum staff member tells you to do something fishy, don't do it. PoodleCorp might be playing with us. If Linus got his account back, I'm sure the first thing he'd do is make some sort of statement saying he got it.

That's why it seems somewhat suspicious. Obviously, at this point we can't just go making assumptions, but it does seem a little odd. Not to mention, Keem was literally there reporting Linus being hacked immediately. I mean, i get that he is a new guy (supposedly) and is trying to keep up with all of the news, but that is either a real big coincidence, or there is a reason why he was there tweeting it immediately. Either way, who knows at this point. Just speculating, tis' all.
