Right on the base of the monitor, near the top right front of it, there is a little plastic paper clip jutting out. That is where the magnet is

In my experience the glossy panels over saturate the colors and contrast - I do a lot of photo editing and it distorts colors for me 
And not a fan of the the glare you get - i dont work in a cave and need ambient lighting around my room

its a matter of personal preference tbh, cant force it on other people
I just figured i would point out the glossy screen as it doenst mention it in the specs
