Recommended anti-virus//malware software

Hello, I'm currently using the Bitdefender as my anti-virus for my pc protection. Although I recently stumbled on some forums that said a lot of false positives going on with the Bitdefender . I also have some trouble updating my xsplit gamecaster software as it seems to be conflicting with Bitdefender.

 

So I'm wondering if there is any good alternatives for Bitdefender.

Malwarebytes is a great option, even just the free version is very good no matter what else you are using. Personally I've found Vipre, Avast and Avira all pretty decent, though they all come with a lot of extra features you will probably just disable. Either way definitely get Malwarebytes free. On like, every computer. Ever. xD

Webroot is very good too. I have it and it won't let any viruses go into the computer without administrative permission

Yeah I heard a lot of good things from Malwarebytes :)

I might try Avast then! For some reason, when I try to install the malwarebyte the bitdefender refused to allow me to install it lol.

Windows Defender should be perfectly adequate.

Second on Malwarebytes. If there is something that it can't clean I'll resort to Spybot S & D.
