650W vs 550W

So I want to build a PC around the RX 480 and have all the parts laid out but want to save a few dollars. I decided to go with a 650W PSU but I think thats a little overkill. I'm thinking of bumping that down to a 550W PSU. Does anyone know or sort of know how many watts the RX 480 8GB Model will need when under pressure? My current plan has a base of 192W according to PCpartpicker.

dont use PSU calculators, they are always wrong

a 400W power supply would be more than enough for that PC

whats important is taht you buy a good quality one from EVGA or seasonic or something like that

Yeah what im look at is a EVGA SuperNOVA 550 GS Gold. I was going to go with the G2 edition but they look about the same and the GS is made for silence and is cheaper than the G2.

The G2 is not only quieter than the G2 but slightly better. I am an owner of a 550W GS BTW and looking back on it wish I had gotten the G2 as the fan is bigger and thus quieter and the fan curve is more aggressively quiet. The modular cables on the GS are flat which I'm not overly fond of and it was only 5 dollars less than the G2 at the time. The GS is still great but the G2 is worth it if quiet is your goal.

The quietness isn't really my goal its more cutting the cost since I don't have a lot of money to spend on this build but still want quality parts. Also the case i'm looking at, the Fractal Design Refine r4, comes with noise canceling covering in the case so it shouldn't really be a problem.

550W would be enough for 2 480s, if you're thinking of maybe adding a second one later.
