Non reference gpu waterblock?

Go to solution Solved by xentropa,

There some blocks out there that only cool gpu (no VRAM cooling).  Not sure how good that is.

Hi I have a Gigabyte Windforce 3x r9 280x rev 2. I was thinking of maybe doing a custom water cooling loop. I know that non reference cards are made with a specific cooler and a different pcb layout, but I was wondering if there is any water block out there that works with it?

I was looking into the EK Thermosphere, would this be a viable option, along with some heat spreaders for the vram?

i would ditch that idea and get a RX 480 when that drops tbh

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)
