Software Controlled RGB Lights

Go to solution Solved by Enderman,

1) what remote are you talking about

the hue+ is controller by software

2) the hue+ and corsair commander mini both use software control

3) no there is no software to sync RGB on all devices

I am planning to build a new rig with RGB lights, and want a solution that doesn't rely on a remote like the NZXT HUE+ Does.

I know that ASUS ROG motherboards have an aura header for RGB software controlled lights, but ASUS ROG things are very expensive, and i cant afford a 400$ motherboard.

How can I control RGB lighting strips with software.

P.S. I may be getting a GTX 1070 with RGB lights (seems as if all the SKUs have them now), and I already have a K70 RGB. is there a program to sync RGB lighting strips with other RGB components in a system, such as GPU, Keyboard, Mouse, etc.? I want to be able to easily switch my RGB lights across the entire build, and would prefer if i didn't need to open three separate programs.

thanks for your reply

As of currently the only software controlled RGB LED systems are the NZXT hue+, the ones from Corsair using their Corsair link software or Aquacomputer farbwerk system. There isn't a way to link all the devices of different brands and makes together and communicate between them.
