What voltage is this camera?

EDIT: Chances are it's 5V. But unless you can crack open the power supply housekeeping circuitry and trace some wires (or poke leads at the camera), you won't be able to figure this out for certain.

I have this https://www.amazon.com/JJRC-Headless-Quadcopter-Camera-Monitor/dp/B00U151RXI drone.

I can take of the cam on it and I want to power it when it is off the drone so i can put it on a rc or something else, but what would be the voltage? and could i even do this

If you have a multimeter (if you don't have one, you should get one especially one with a continuity tester) you can check the voltage of the camera power. Just be very careful that the two probes together or you will see sparks and you might take things with it. 

 

Why don't you get a normal fpv camera like a run cam 600tvl? It's not HD, but it's great for flying fpv.

Well i tried to get the voltage, but the pins are so small, and I do not want to spend more, but i might just buy one.

Oh, just to further bolster my claims it's 5V...

 

I've worked on a lot of embedded systems like this where the supply voltage was 3.7V like the lithium battery, but it's usually boosted up to 5V. The logical voltage would've been 3.3V but hardly anything I know uses 3.3V signaling and it's less heat when you do a step-up converter than a step-down converter.

 

Anyway, that's my two cents.
