Budget Beginner Gaming Rig

I'm looking to build a desktop computer for gaming that can keep up with the upcoming game releases. I have a budget of between $500-600 (US) and need help planning on where to put the majority of the budget without loosing performance in the other parts. If possible I would like to be able to overclock and upgrade when necessary without having to buy a whole new rig. I plan on running programs like Unity engine and playing games on both sides of the performance spectrum. If possible I would like to be able to hook up to a 4k monitor and would only be connected to one at a time. I want to upgrade at this time so I have the ability to do upgrades in the future as my laptop has very little upgrades to it.  I will need to buy the operating system and keyboard mouse. I would like to be able to connect to the wifi via wireless connection.  Thanks for the help.

I would not even be considering 4k on that budget, you need a 1080 or even SLI 1080s to get 60fps in 4k at high settings

You could maybe look at 1440p, a card like the new 480 for $200 would be very suitable, or possibly  up coming 1060 etc

Paired with  a decent i5 it would do a good job - OCing will add money to your budget, so is probably something you will might have to skip since a locked i5 and budget board + 480 is already about $450-500

with 500-600 its pretty hard to get a future proofing (upgradable) PC since the new skylake from intel is pretty costly unless you want to go for an i3 (duo core). You can get OC with the old fx series from AMD but with the zen coming nxt year, your mobo will not be able to be future proofing for long. 4K at your price range is not possible, those GPU in this performance range cost around 500-600 USD itself.

This is my suggestion. I include z170 so you can switch to a better cpu to get OC later, (also a CPU cooler), The OS can be purchased around $30 from kinguin.
