Urgent build finalising

Chace

I want to start shipping components in in the next few days but would like you to review my build before I start. http://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/YzXpgL (UPDATED LINK)

Any other components that are better or anything I should consider upgrading to would be very much appreciated. I just have a couple of uncertainties about my build. Any help in any particular area which you can provide help would be great.

Which wifi adapter should I go? TP-Link WDN4800 or asus pce ac68 (or any other ones, those two just caught my eye). The TP-LINK is cheap and half the price and has good reviews but the asus one is supposed to be the best on the market. I'm not extremely close to the router and my speeds fall off. It claims to fix that and ideal for gaming, good reviews but its $50 or $100.

SSD or HDD for storage?

Monitors are the last thing and there's so many out there it's giving me a major headache to decide. For my budget ($250AUD) I am limited to 60hz refresh rate at 1080p (24"). These are 6 that i've found from good brands:

Thanks heaps.

regarding your build:

Spoiler

- maybe a cheaper mobo

- maybe DDR4 2133mhz if they are cheaper since non-z170 chipset motherboard can go up to 2133mhz (correct me if im wrong)

- get a better psu like the new CX grey 550m unit or seasonic S12II/M12II 520W

as for monitor, i've been using the vx239h for about half a year now, it's been awesome for me :D

though i dont play fast paced games, just mmorpgs lol

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

the CX green have long term reliability issues, it doesnt take heat very well

for black red, the only psu that comes to mind is the Corsair AX lineup, good quality but have a price premium

if you want neutral colours, the EVGA G2/GS or the seasonic units i suggested are quite fine

Not that PSU. Just for longetivity, something like an EVGA G2/GQ/GS, the new CX lineup (the grey label, NOT THE GREEN) or anything from Seasonic, XFX or Super Flower
