1 ssd or 2 ssd

going to be building a pc in around a month and for storage i was going to get one 120 gb ssd for the os, a 500 gb ssd for my games and other programs and then a 1 tb hard drive just for random storage 

 

now should i just buy a 500 gb ssd or one 120gb and one 500gb

nope, just buy a good ssd like the samsung 850 evo and you're fine

There's no performance difference whatsoever between using one, two, three, or an infinite number of separate drives.

120gb drives aren't as fast as larger capacities anyway.
