closed Cant type reply in thread or delete quotes.

I'm trying to reply to this thread.

It won't let me delete a quote and I can't type anywhere else in the reply box. I tried restarting my computer and when I come back, if I simply click in the reply box the quote is still there and I still can't type anywhere outside the quote.

Hold down CTRL and right click on the quote. It should give you the ability to remove it. If you still can't type anything after that, try restarting the browser and trying again. I have this problem sometimes, and it's a real pain on mobile.

How do you remove the quote on the phone? The only thing that works for me is to cut the whole box. And that's a pain in the ass since you have to press a certain area of the box.

I have yet to figure it out. It's inconsistent with this software.

Aside from using a different keyboard (one that sends proper key press events, such as "Hacker's Keyboard"), unfortunately there is no consistent way at the moment.
