I have $3000 to build a new system :)

I have set aside another $1000 for the monitor, fans, and custom cables

I rarely play video games exept for BeamNG.Drive which utilizes more than 4 cores. Plus I use adobe premier pro and Photoshop with adobe media encoder.

Although I want to test more games in the future with steam sales (thank you gaben)

Im going to run all this on a 4k monitor posted in the parts list

I have a copy of windows already with keyboard, mice, speakers, headphones, and storage.

A little cheaper but it have more ram, meaning that adobe premier pro and Photoshop would be happy for eat this upgrade of 32GB of ram. also i pointed you a cheaper video card. since you dont need a 1080 for that video game.

Will you agree on spending less, if possible? You know, like more sensible builds for far less price?

And when are you going to build this even? If later, then ask us when you will build it. The later you ask, the more upto-date and accurate recommendations you get.

The problem is that this is an nVidia product and scoring any nVidia product a "zero" is also highly predictive of the number of nVidia products the reviewer will receive for review in the future.

That mobo is stupid tho, if you want to spend $3000 it's your choice.

Down on the mobo and save or spend that on other stuff. or maybe even cable mods or the new RGB fans idk.

I will have extra for cables, fans, etc. I just love the design and features of the motherboard

Let me guess. You're getting that motherboard because it looks cool, correct?

Seems a smarter way to spend the money would be on a better display, or else more than one. All the features on that mobo are just going to sit there unused.

Which motherboard would u recommend

Don't listen to people telling you your system is too expensive and you are wasting money. If the components you like is what you want then go for it, I like the godlike motherboard too and while you can't justify the cost of it for aesthetics, if you have the cash then by all means do it.

As far as your build, components look fine. Maybe I will change the case though, I mean if you want a similar look to the 400C, then perhaps the Define series from Fractal will be a good choice? Or an NZXT H440? Corsair 750D is also very good and spacious.

I noticed your ram speed is 2400mhz, you can always get a 3000 or 3200mhz kit for a few bucks more. Do you need it ? No, but is it cool to have? yes :)

CPU Cooler I would go for the new H115i from corsair (basically a rebranded H110i GT as far as I know). Then probably invest some money in replacing all case fans with better flow fans or more silent fans. That kind of stuff you know.

I'm currently going balls out too on a fully custom loop and so far the components chosen for the single water loop alone are almost over £1k haha. But it is addictive to spend money on high quality/good looking hardware so no harm there.

Edit: Here is my choice of parts if I was you http://pcpartpicker.com/list/vbFf7h

7800x3d - RTX 4090 FE - 64GB-6000C30 - 2x2TB 990 Pro - 4K 144HZ

If you have the cash: https://www.scan.co.uk/products/ekwb-ek-xlc-predator-360-rev11-all-in-one-hydro-cooler-360mm-rad-3x-vardar-fans-quick-disconnects-fo

Any 360 will work ok, but the EK predator is king when it comes to quality of parts and performance. Also it has a quick disconnect, meaning you can add a prefilled GPU with a block and add it to your loop later on :)

Thank you for all of your help.

Someone like you is exactly what I needed.

I am actually a content creator on YouTube and I got a big bonus I wanted to spend on my computer.

My friend made a similar build with asus parts so I wanted to go a different route and compare.

Once again thank you for the help :)

No problem, glad I could help.

Well after my build is complete and my room re-designed this summer, I will be looking to create content on youtube too, so there is probably a few questions I might have for you closer to that time :P

Feel free to PM me anything else you need.

Btw you going for that type of 1080 instead of the likes of a EVGA Hybrid or Classified?

I saw that and I made a few options listed here

ASUS ROG STRIX

MSI GAMING X 8G

MSI SEA HAWK X

Gigabyte Extreme Gaming Premium Pack

ZOTAC AMP Extreme

Im deciding on a liquid cooler or triple slot cooler from zotac :P

Well I had the EVGA Hybrid liquid cooled 980ti in SLI and they were dead silent and temps never went above 50C with a heavy overclock. So imo if you are going to get a water cooled one, either MSI Sea Hawk or EVGA Hybrid. I Prefer EVGA due to their epic warranty and customer support. As well as very fast RMA service.

Ill go with the EVGA one and buy a water-block for the triple radiator you showed me ;D

Yeah it would be advertised like this usually: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ocuk-tech-labs-ek-fc980-gtx-ti-strix-acetal-and-nickel-predator-pre-filled-watercooled-graphics-ca-wc-135-tl.html

As long as it has pre filled predator in the name, it's good to go.

Well I am also planning a build with next gen parts, but I am not going it the same direction as you.

My cpu will have about the same price as the 5820k, I will put 32gb of ddr4 ram in it, I will CF 490x or the new Fury (if they make one) because they will have better support for DX12 and async compute, I will get a decent mATX mobo and build it in a modded STYX classic.

All in all my pc will cost about 2800$ with a 500gb samsung evo sdd and lot's of other good parts, like insanely good fans, NZXT hue, high quality 750w PSU.

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

My main Headphones and IEMs:  K612 pro, HD 25 and Ultimate Ears Reference Monitor, HD 580 with HD 600 grills

DAC and AMP: RME ADI 2 DAC

Speakers: Genelec 8040, System Audio SA205

Receiver: Denon AVR-1612

Desktop: R7 1700, GTX 1080  RX 580 8GB and other stuff

Laptop: ThinkPad P50: i7 6820HQ, M2000M. ThinkPad T420s: i7 2640M, NVS 4200M

Feel free to pm me if you have a question for me or quote me. If you want to hear what I have to say about something just tag me.
