Is This A Bug?

As you can see, if you view the attached image, YouTube keeps doing this weird thing where it resizes the options bar at the bottom of some videos. Not only does it make it larger, but it does not minimize when you play the video, making it rather irritating. I'm assuming this is a bug, and if it's not, I was wondering if any of you guys might know what is causing it.

 

Side Note: It seems to happen more on videos that have been recently uploaded.

I know the bar is not a bug, but its size is sometimes larger than normal and does not minimize.

 

Refresh? Restart the browser? Restart the computer?

 

And what do you think was the first thing I did?

I used to use magic options to air sure that always auto hid, along with the nice cinema view they had instead of dealing with the left focused design. Nowadays I use YouTube center (IIRC), because it lets you remove DASH playback (So I can preload entire videos in case my net dies) but also to remove those inconsistencies. Really I just hate how in the way the control bar feels :<.

Do you have the mouse inside the video window or outside the video window?

Well. I see two differences in the videos. One is incredibly long and in HD. The other is not. That may be the cause of the slightly different player. Another reason, which seems more reasonable and probable at this point, YouTube is just sucking
