Well, for a lot of things I used Paint.NET, which worked also fine, but I want something that has a little more features when it comes specificly to drawing.
But thanks :)

depends for what, really.

paint.net does really well for artistry stuff

gimp is AMAZING for manipulating images, i'm a creative disaster, and i've managed to use GIMP to turn a 16x16 icon into a 256x256 one to the point people went googling for it because they were convinced i was full of shit.

MS paint actually does really well for small things like touching up some pixels, but obviously lacks alpha layer support on PNG.

if you want to add an extra dimension (hurrdurr) AKA 3D design, sketchup actually does pretty good, and has a pretty impressive plugin and premade object library.

Gimp, Krita, Mischief, Fire Alpaca and SAI are what I would recommend.

They all have their pros and cons and are fit for different scenarios.

Gimp, Krita and Fire Alpaca are fully free, Mischief has a free version and a paid version (the paid version has layers and a couple more features. this full version has a trial too) and SAI has a 31 day trial and after that is about 45 USD.

Later today (from writing this post) I will post a mega thread with a whole bunch more digital art programs and their pros and cons.
