Suggestions for a mechanical keyboard?

Hi guys,

I received a very good amount of money for my 18th birthday and I thought it was the time to make the big step: to swap out my CM Storm Devastator keyboard for a mechanical keyboard.
I chose the Corsair Strafe RGB, but do you have any suggestions? Is it a good keyboard?
Thank you!

I have a Max Keyboard Blackbird TKL. Its on the expensive side at $150, but I have had it for 2 years now and it is just great. The included wrist rest is so simple but it works great. I opted for the red backlighting and cherry MX Blue switches.

Like I said, I bought for $150 2 years ago and it is still the exact same price. For the same money you can get a Nighthawk, which is the full keyboard version that they made before the Blackbird.

Max Keyboard used to make keyboards industrially, but then they switched to consumer grade keyboards like 5 or 6 years ago. Great great keyboard IMO.

Good keyboard, but personally I need the Numpad since I do quick calculations and operate in spreadsheets and databases quite often.

Yep, I really like Corsair too but if another brand can offer me more for the same price I'll buy another keyboard.

I’ve heard some people mentioning this board: http://www.amazon.com/HV-KB366L-Backlit-Mechanical-Keyboard-Switches/dp/B014SHAGVI/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1465059322&sr=8-7&keywords=mechanical+keyboard

but I don’t actually know anything about it

130$ would be a dream for me.

Since I am Italian (European), I have the Euro as currency.

A K70 for 114€ (130$) would be a really good deal, but here the conversion rate inexplicably rises to 1€=1$ + Taxes, so your 130$ K70 here in Italy costs 160€ (181$) including VAT.

You americans are really lucky.

I already checked out some of that type of keyboards in that price range, but I don't really like the keycaps.

Also I prefer to buy a quality product that I am sure that it will last a long time. :)

Thanks for the suggestion though.
